Cineflix Rights appoints Felicia Litovitz as VP, Acquisitions, North America

Cineflix Rights has appointed Felicia Litovitz to the newly created role of VP, Acquisitions, North America, as the company continues to expand its portfolio of third-party content.

A seasoned acquisitions executive, Litovitz will build Cineflix Rights’ catalogue of factual and scripted content from US and Canadian producer partners. Her role will also focus on securing distribution rights through setting up first-look, development and output deals, pre-sales and co-productions. Reporting to Richard Life, Head of Acquisitions, Felicia will be based in the Toronto office and will lead Cineflix Rights’ North American acquisitions team alongside Giuliana Benvenuto, Manager, Acquisitions, North America.

Litovitz has more than 15 years’ experience in various roles across the TV and film industry. She joins Cineflix Rights from Fremantle, where she held the role of Director, Distribution representing globally successful brands including Jamie Oliver, Grand Designs, Project Runway, and Family Feud. She was previously Manager, Content Acquisitions at Corus Entertainment, acquiring TV series and feature films for all Corus channels including History, National Geographic, Food Network, and HGTV. Before joining Corus, she was Programming and Acquisitions Manager at Spafax Canada.
