Trapped takes these extraordinary escapes and reveals the fascinating details of each victim’s rescue. We focus on examples of creative problem solving, the ingenious application of basic scientific principles, hi-tech engineering and, of course, bravery, sacrifice and heroism of the rescuers.

Every episode tells the dramatic story of someone who is trapped, and the epic rescue that then unfolds. What sets the series apart, is how each story is told from two different viewpoints – that of the hapless victims struggling to survive and that of the heroes battling to save them.
