Cineflix Rights, the UK’s largest independent TV content distributor, has signed a series of deals for crime and investigation programming with UK and European networks.
Leading the way is Cineflix Productions’ new series The Detectives Club: New Orleans (6x60’) which has been bought by Discovery UK and Discovery Europe. The show brings together a group of dedicated homicide investigators who recount the most challenging, high profile, and emotional murder cases against the colourful backdrop of the “Big Easy”.
Murder Book (Seasons 1 and 2, 23x60’, LMNO Productions) follows cold cases recently solved by the determination of detectives, prosecutors, criminologists, and family members, has been picked up by Sky in the UK and Discovery Europe.
Fox UK has bought a number of shows for its recently launched channel YourTV including Hollywood & Crime (6x60’, LMNO Productions), Murder She Solved: True Crime (Seasons 1 and 2, 16x60’, Force Four Entertainment/Mystique Films), Unusual Suspects (Seasons 1 and 2, 24x60’, LMNO Productions), and True CSI (6x60’, Cineflix Productions).
One of Cineflix Rights’ longest running crime brands, Cold Blood (also known as Motives & Murders) has been bought by AMC Networks EMEA (Seasons 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8, 69x60’, Cineflix Productions) and CBS Reality UK (Season 8, 10x60’). CBS Reality UK has also taken Wives with Knives (Seasons 3 and 4, 18x60’, Indigo Films).
