Cineflix Rights, the UK’s largest independent TV content distributor, has closed a number of international deals for its property and design lifestyle programming.
Cineflix Rights’ Property Brothers programming has made further inroads into the UK and Europe, with UKTV taking Property Brothers at Home (4x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment), following its previous acquisition of Brother Vs Brother (Seasons 1-4, 22x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment) and Property Brothers (Seasons 5-7, 78x60’, Cineflix Productions). ITVBe has additionally bought Property Brothers: Buying & Selling (Season 5, 18x60’, Cineflix Productions).
Discovery Sweden has bought Property Brothers (Season 6, 26x60’, Cineflix Productions); NC+ Poland has acquired Property Brothers: Buying & Selling (Seasons 3&4, 39x60’) for their Domo+ channel; AMC Networks has acquired Property Brothers: Buying & Selling (Seasons 3&4, 39x60’) for their Spektrum Home channel in Hungary, Slovakia, and Czech Republic; Poland’s Zoom TV has bought Brother vs Brother (Seasons 1-4, 22x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment); and Digicast Italy has bought Property Brothers (Season 1, 13x60’).
Flipping Virgins, which follows real estate and home space expert Egypt Sherrod as she helps first-timers find and flip properties, has sold to Discovery Latin America (Seasons 1&2, 12x60’, Cineflix Productions) and AMC Networks for their Spektrum Home channel (Seasons 1&2).
SPORT1 Germany and WP Poland have both bought Buy It, Fix It, Sell It (Seasons 1&2, 20x30’, Frantic Films) which explores the world of ‘restorers, ‘fixers’, and ‘re-purposers’ as they make a living buying hidden treasures cheap at auction, restoring them in their workshops, and selling them for a profit.
Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media said: “The demand for lifestyle content remains strong, and these latest deals demonstrate Jonathan and Drew Scott’s huge international appeal as their shows continue to attract new audiences around the world. And alongside the Property Brothers, our other high quality property and design series are also proving to be popular with our buyers.”
