Cineflix Media Inc. announced today that Dave Snyder has joined the international media company as its new VP of Development.
Snyder was previously VP of Development & Production at Jigsaw Productions, Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney’s production company, where he oversaw cable and digital media projects and developed TV series including The New Yorker Presents for Amazon Studios and Death Row Stories for CNN. He has also served as showrunner, director, and producer of programs ranging from National Geographic Channel’s recently re-launched Explorer series to MTV’s World of Jenks and Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
“Dave has a great track record of developing the premium content our network partners are asking for, as well as a wealth of experience creating and producing formats. His proven ability to work successfully across an array of genres makes Dave a real asset in Cineflix’s plans for growth,” said Cineflix Co-Founder and Co-CEO Glen Salzman.
Based out of the company’s New York office, Snyder will report to recently appointed EVP of Development Dave Hamilton, and work closely with President of Production Charles Tremayne.
“Dave Hamilton and Charles Tremayne are known not just for their quality work and commercial savvy, but for being all-around great guys who foster creativity and collaboration,” Snyder said. “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with them and the rest of the talented Cineflix team.”
